The Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians were firing on all cylinders against the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green, and when the final buzzer sounded Canadians emerged with a 5-1 win.

Ryland Mosley had a great game for Carleton Place Midget AAA, netting two goals. Mosley's tallies came at 2:55 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and on the power play 2:35 into the second to make the score 3-1 Carleton Place Midget AAA.

The Canadians put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow CIHA Green Midget AAA to score on any of its five power plays. Carleton Place Midget AAA forced the Green goalie Zachary Kott to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Carleton Place Midget AAA also got points from Reece Bolton, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Brayden Campeau also scored for Carleton Place Midget AAA. In addition, Carleton Place Midget AAA received assists from Liam Markhauser and Spencer Marshall, who each chipped in one and Joey Warywoda and Oliver Carriere, who contributed two each.

CIHA Green Midget AAA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Green were led by Matthew Grouchy, who scored the team's only goal. Grouchy scored 1:06 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CIHA Green Midget AAA.

Chris Cuglietta made 24 saves for the Canadians on 25 shots. Carleton Place Midget AAA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Kott rejected 32 shots on goal for CIHA Green Midget AAA.
