Peoria wins tough contest against Huntsville, 3-2

Peoria were paced by Michael Beaudry, who tallied one goal. Beaudry scored in the second period to make the score 3-2 Peoria. Alec Hagaman and Dave Pszenyczny registered the assists on the goal.

Rivermen put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Huntsville to score on any of their four power plays.

Peoria also got points from Hagaman, who also registered one goal and one assist and Pszenyczny, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Peoria came via Adam Stuart and Brandon Greenside, who contributed one apiece.

Havoc were led by Brandon Vossberg, who finished with one goal.Vossberg scored short handed in the third period to make the score 3-3 . The score was assisted by Kyle McNeil and Phil Tesoriero.Others who scored for Huntsville included Scott Henegar, John McGinnis, and Vossberg, who scored one each. In addition, Huntsville received assists from McNeil, who had two and Tesoriero and Bo Driscoll, who each chipped in one.

Peoria's David Jacobson stopped 22 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Rivermen incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Ryan de Melo made 25 saves for Huntsville on 28 shots. Havoc incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
