Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Mississippi RiverKings battled back to claim a 6-5 victory over the Huntsville Havoc. Mississippi RiverKings never led in the game until netting the game winner. Mississippi RiverKings was down 4-2 after a goal by Huntsville's Jason Popek at 3:26 in the second period. Mississippi RiverKings knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Linden Bahm at 9:43 in the third period. Mississippi RiverKings got the game winner on the power play at 12:37 in the third period on a goal by Bahm. Mississippi RiverKings outdid its season average for goals scored.
