Campbellford downs Napanee in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Campbellford Rebels' Ethan McDougall scored 4:49 into overtime to beat the Napanee Raiders, 4-3 (OT).

Campbellford was led by McDougall, who racked up one goal.

The Rebels stifled Napanee's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raiders were unable to stop Campbellford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rebels eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Campbellford also had goals scored by Graiden Maynard, Riley McGuire, and Jeremiah Doherty, who scored one goal each. More assists for Campbellford came via Travis Bennett and Karm Dart, who contributed one each.

Napanee excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Raiders' offense rang up 36 shots on Campbellford's net.

Napanee was helped by Chad Caskenette, who had one goal. Caskenette scored 8:53 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Napanee. Justynn Steven assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Napanee included Matt Tedford and Aidan McFarland, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Brodie Butt, Zach Knapp-Hermer, and Austin Boulard, who each chipped in one.

The Rebels' Tyler Freemen stopped 33 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Campbellford incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cameron Parr rejected 39 shots on goal for the Raiders. Napanee incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
