Charles Grimard recorded a shutout against the Amherstview Jets as the Picton Pirates picked up a 2-0 win. Picton was led by Brad Reid, who finished with one goal. Reid scored 2:37 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Picton. Mitch Thompson picked up the assist. The Pirates excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Picton also got a goal from Mitchell Merry as well. More assists for Picton came via Nate Kellar and Devin McCann, who contributed one each. Amherstview's offense operated below its season average. The Jets average 5.0 goals per game. Amherstview's offense rang up 42 shots on Picton's net. Grimard recorded 42 saves for the Pirates.
