Jodoin nets hat trick, leads Amherstview to 4-2 win over CampbellfordWJ Henderson Rec. Centre Sun, Nov 15, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
A hat trick by Cody Jodoin was the highlight in Jets' 4-2 win against the Campbellford Rebels. Jodoin notched his first tally 18:22 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:47 into the second and at 15:50 into the third.Campbellford was unable to stop the Amherstview Jets from sending pucks towards the net, and Amherstview eventually piled up 50 shots on goal. Amherstview also got points from Jordan Howe, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. In addition, Amherstview received assists from Brett Yake, who had three and Adam Alcorn, Dorian Overland, and Matt Bruinsma, who contributed one each. The Rebels were helped by Travis Bennett, who racked up one goal. Bennett scored 17:29 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Connor Petherick assisted on the tally. Campbellford also got a goal from Robby Ellis as well. More assists for Campbellford came via Koel Newton, Karm Dart, and Jeremiah Doherty, who each chipped in one. Ryan Kaszuba rejected 21 shots on goal for the Jets. Amherstview incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Tyler Freemen made 46 saves for Campbellford on 50 shots. The Rebels totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Team's Riley McGuire and Dart were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
