Amherstview blows out Napanee, 8-2Strathcona Paper Fri, Sep 25, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Amherstview Jets were firing on all cylinders against the Napanee Raiders, and when the final buzzer sounded Jets emerged with an 8-2 win. Wyatt Crampton was all over the ice for Amherstview, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Crampton scored the first of his two goals at 12:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Amherstview. Cody Smith assisted on the tally. Crampton's next tally made the score 8-2 Amherstview with 3:00 left in the third period. Smith picked up the assist. The Jets' penalty kill excelled, as Amherstview gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 8:22 into the third period.
