St. Andrews College downs Upper Canada College, 2-1Wilder Arena Complex Wed, Feb 17, 2016 Lucas Thorne racked up one point to lead the St. Andrews College Saints to a 2-1 victory over the Upper Canada College Blues. St. Andrews College did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Saints average 4.3 goals per game. St. Andrews College forced Upper Canada College goalie Luca Imbrogno to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. St. Andrews College also got a goal from Alex MacDonald as well. More assists for St. Andrews College came via Connor Ali, Reid Yochim, Corey Andonovski, and Ryan OConnell, who contributed one each. The Blues were led by Reid Humphrey, who scored the team's only goal. Humphrey scored on the power play 11:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Upper Canada College. Upper Canada College had gained a power play chance when Noah Lugli was whistled for roughing. Jonathan Thompson provided the assist. The Saints took out Kristian Hufsky after he had made eight saves and installed Cole Chapman in goal, where he finished with 10 saves and the win. St. Andrews College incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Luca Imbrogno made 29 saves for the Blues on 31 shots. Upper Canada College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
