MacDonald leads St. Andrews College over Nichols School, 6-3LaBrier Family Arena Fri, Nov 20, 2015 Behind a great game by Alex MacDonald, who had one goal and two assists, the St. Andrews College Saints defeated the Nichols School Vikings, 6-3. MacDonald scored 10:31 into the third period to make the score 4-3 St. Andrews College. Regan Kimens picked up the assist. MacDonald dished an assist on Reid Yochim's goal that made the score 2-1 St. Andrews College at 15:38 into the second period. He added another helper on Kimens' goal that made the score 6-3 St. Andrews College at 19:36 into the third period.St. Andrews College forced Vikings' goalies to work without much rest, racking up 38 shots and forcing 32 saves. Jerry Baerwitz made 29 stops and Josh Graziano made three. St. Andrews College additionally got points from Kimens, who also racked up one goal and one assist. William Sirman also scored for St. Andrews College. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Mitchell Martan, who had three and Connor Ali and Ryan OConnell, who contributed one each. The Saints were unable to stop Nichols School from sending pucks towards the net, and the Vikings eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Nichols School was helped by Connor Zak, who registered one goal. Zak scored on the power play 15:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Nichols School. The Vikings had gained a power play chance when Corey Andonovski was whistled for tripping. Jack Millar assisted on the tally. Nichols School also had goals scored by Anthony Scanzuso and Cole Donhauser, who scored one goal each. More assists for Nichols School came via Matt Gasuik, Steve Senese, and Erik Urbank, who each chipped in one. St. Andrews College's Cole Chapman stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced. The Saints incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Nichols School incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
