St. Andrews College rips Stanstead College, 6-2

The St. Andrews College Saints were firing on all cylinders against Stanstead College, and when the final buzzer sounded Saints emerged with a 6-2 win.

Regan Kimens was all over the ice for St. Andrews College, as he registered two goals in the win. Kimens scored at 10:22 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Andrews College and again while on the power play 13:14 into the first to make the score 3-0 St. Andrews College.

The Saints stifled Stanstead College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Stanstead College was unable to stop St. Andrews College from sending pucks towards the net, and the Saints eventually piled up 53 shots on goal. St. Andrews College got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

St. Andrews College also got points from Noah Lugli, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Mitchell Martan, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Morgan Barron, who also racked up one goal and one assist. St. Andrews College also got a goal from Reid Yochim as well. More assists for St. Andrews College came via Kody Clark, who had three and Lucas Thorne, Connor Ali, and Alex MacDonald, who contributed one each.

Stanstead College forced the Saints goalie Jacob Brayford to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.

Stanstead College was helped by B Larsson, who registered one goal and one assist. Larsson scored 15:55 into the second period to make the score 4-1 St. Andrews College. R Horvath provided the assist. Stanstead College additionally got points from Horvath, who also finished with one goal and one assist. In addition, Stanstead College received assists from T Psenicka and B Brule, who each chipped in one.

Brayford recorded 41 saves for St. Andrews College. The Saints incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. M Chan rejected 47 shots on goal for Stanstead College. Stanstead College incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
