St. Andrews College beats Shattuck St. Marys 4-3 after comeback scare

Shattuck St. Marys tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the St. Andrews College Saints would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Morgan Barron put St. Andrews College up 4-2 in the third period, but Shattuck St. Marys pulled to within one on Emil Ohrvall's tally 15:14 into the third period.

Barron had two goals to lead the Saints to victory.

St. Andrews College's offense rang up 31 shots on Shattuck St. Marys' net.

St. Andrews College also had goals scored by Lucas Thorne and Corey Andonovski, who scored one goal each. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Mitchell Martan, Jacob Miller, Kody Clark, and Ryan OConnell, who each chipped in one.

Others who scored for Shattuck St. Marys included Charlie Dovorany and Vincent de Mey, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Shattuck St. Marys were Tyler Jutting, Erik Dahl, Niko Karamanis, Noah Weber, and Miroslav Mucha, who contributed one each.

Kristian Hufsky rejected 21 shots on goal for the Saints. St. Andrews College incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. David Tomeo recorded 27 saves for Shattuck St. Marys. Shattuck St. Marys incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
