New Hampton School blows out St. Andrews College, 5-1

New Hampton School had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over the St. Andrews College Saints.

New Hampton School was led by goalie Jacob Burhans, who finished with 33 saves while allowing one goal. Despite the solid performance, Burhans will actually see his goals against average rise, as it stood at 1.0 entering the contest.

New Hampton School was led by Jakov Novak, who racked up one goal. Novak scored 9:53 into the first period to make the score 2-1 New Hampton School. Luke Albert assisted on the tally.

New Hampton School stifled St. Andrews College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. New Hampton School was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 14 penalty minutes. New Hampton School got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
