Behind two goals from Nathan Pageau and one goal and one assist from Andrew Radjenovic, the Stoney Creek Generals downed the Brantford Blast 6-3.

Pageau scored the first of his two goals at 2:30 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Mike Ruberto assisted on the tally. Pageau's next tally made the score 3-2 Stoney Creek with 29 seconds left in the second period. Sean Blanchard picked up the assist. Radjenovic scored 2:45 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Stoney Creek. Marcus Ruberto assisted on the tally.

Stoney Creek pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 25 penalty minutes.

The Generals kept Brantford's goalie busy throughout the game, and Anthony Marshall made 48 saves on 54 shots.

Stoney Creek additionally got points from Jarrett Konkle, who also registered one goal and one assist, Ruberto, who also had one goal and one assist, Ryan O Marra, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Radjenovic, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Stoney Creek were Tyler Donati, who had one and Nikola Bibic, who had three.

The Blast's offense rang up 40 shots on Stoney Creek's net. Brantford got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

The Blast were led by Jeff Caister, who registered two goals and one assist. Caister scored the first of his two goals at 14:06 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brantford. The Generals ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ryan Healy was ejected from the game. The Blast incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
