Matt Meher gave the Penetang Kings a 6-5 (OT) victory over the Orillia Terriers when he scored 1:12 into the extra period. Penetang overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Kings trailed 3-0 after a goal by Orillia's Brady Hubbard at 13:51 in the first period. Penetang tied things up at 5-5 on a goal by Craig Robinson at 9:52 in the third period. The Kings got the win behind a great game by Robinson, who had two goals and one assist. Robinson scored the first of his two goals at 7:07 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Orillia. Dallin Blunt picked up the assist. Robinson's next tally made the score 5-5 with 10:08 left in the third period. Michael Paul assisted on the tally. The Terriers were unable to stop Penetang from sending pucks towards the net, and the Kings eventually piled up 49 shots on goal. Penetang's goal total was higher than its season average.
