Nathan Antonides recorded a shutout against the Penetang Kings as the Huntsville Otters picked up a 4-0 win. Penetang's power play was ineffective against Huntsville's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. The Otters were paced by Cam Russell, who registered one goal and one assist. Russell scored 1:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Huntsville. Antonides provided the assist. Huntsville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Penetang power plays. The Otters kept the Kings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Hunter Ferguson made 32 saves on 36 shots. Huntsville additionally got points from Andy Baker, who also registered one goal and one assist. Huntsville also had goals scored by Jake McIntyre and Tanner Hamilton, who each put in one. More assists for Huntsville came via Josh Zantingh and Kyle Burns, who each chipped in one. Penetang did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Kings put an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. Huntsville was unable to stop Penetang from sending pucks towards the net, and the Kings eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Nathan Antonides made 31 saves for the Otters on 31 shots. Huntsville incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Penetang incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
