Tyler Randerson registered two points to lead the New Hamburg Firebirds to a 3-1 victory over the Delhi Travellers.

New Hamburg excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Firebirds forced Delhi goalie Kodie Oude to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Others who scored for New Hamburg included Tyler Kleine and Tyler Hoffman, who each put in one. In addition, New Hamburg received assists from Ethan Adair and Jerry Ennett, who contributed two each.

The Travellers were led by Brandon Szymesko, who scored the team's only goal. Szymesko scored 4:47 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Jared Ebdon picked up the assist.

Tanner Topham recorded 20 saves for New Hamburg. The Firebirds incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Kodie Oude made 33 saves for Delhi on 36 shots. The Travellers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. For Delhi, Szymesko was ejected from the game.
