Delhi falls to Woodstock in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Woodstock Community Center Fri, Dec 18, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Woodstock Navy Vets' Austin Richardson scored 4:08 into overtime to beat the Delhi Travellers, 4-3 (OT). Woodstock was led by Richardson, who finished with one goal. Delhi was unable to stop the Navy Vets from sending pucks towards the net, and Woodstock eventually piled up 46 shots on goal. Others who scored for Woodstock included Braden Hutchison, Dylan Wettlaufer, and Chris Jensen, who scored one goal each. More assists for Woodstock came via Cam Leslie, Chris Thompson, Dan Haig, and Jacob Brown, who each chipped in one. The Travellers were led by Jared Ebdon, who racked up one goal and one assist. Ebdon scored on the power play 12:40 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Delhi had gotten the advantage when the Navy Vets' Jack Taylor was sent off for holding. Rhett Roney picked up the assist. Delhi also had goals scored by Teran Cloet and Nevin Guenther, who each put in one. In addition, Delhi received assists from Chris Spinello, who had two and Jordan Betzold and Mitchell Graham, who contributed one each. North Davies recorded 22 saves for Woodstock. The Navy Vets incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Mike Harrison made 42 saves for the Travellers on 46 shots. Delhi incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
