The Tavistock Braves' Shaun Pickering had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over the Burford Bulldogs.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 14:27 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

Burford was led by Mitch Randell, who finished with one goal and one assist. Randell scored on the power play 6:59 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Burford. The Bulldogs had gained a power play chance when Angus Rowland was whistled for tripping. Ryan McLeod assisted on the tally. Jesse Szabo also scored for Burford.
