A hat trick by Walker Davison was the highlight in Firebirds' 8-4 win against the Norwich Merchants.

The New Hamburg Firebirds forced Norwich goalie Lukas Samson to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. New Hamburg's goal total was higher than its season average. The Firebirds have scored at the pace of 4.6 goals per game during the current campaign. New Hamburg's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.
