Nolan Riley gave the Mooretown Flags a 6-5 (OT) victory over the Alvinston Flyers when he scored 1:13 into the extra period. Mooretown overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Flags trailed 4-1 after a power play goal by Alvinston's Kole Keating at 14:00 in the second period. Mooretown tied things up at 5-5 on a goal by Keating at 14:37 in the third period. The Flags were sparked by Riley, who grabbed one goal. Mooretown's offense rang up 36 shots on the Flyers' net. The Flags bested their season scoring average. Mooretown has scored at the pace of 3.9 goals per game during the current campaign. Mooretown additionally got points from Parker Gilhuly, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Joe DeSena, who also had one goal and one assist. Mooretown also had goals scored by Dawson Vautour, Alec Segers, and Jeff Brown, who each put in one. In addition, Mooretown received assists from Jakob Reeves, who had two and Ryan Lyle, Mike Kindrachuk, Kyle Smith, Trevor Bogaert, and Landon Wilson, who contributed one each.
