Adam Leboeuf recorded a shutout against the Wallaceburg Lakers as the Wheatley Omstead Sharks picked up a 4-0 win. Wheatley was paced by Eric Prudence, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Prudence scored 4:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wheatley. Lucas Raffoul provided the assist. The Omstead Sharks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Wheatley's offense rang up 48 shots on Wallaceburg's net. Wheatley also got points from Brian Johnson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Brett Bowman also scored for Wheatley. In addition, Wheatley received assists from Brady Hillock, who had one and Nick Tavolieri-Essex, who had two. The Lakers were held below their usual level of production.
