Meyerink leads Amherstburg to shutout victory over LakeshoreAtlas Centre Fri, Nov 27, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Connor Meyerink recorded a shutout against the Lakeshore Canadiens as the Amherstburg Integrity Admirals picked up a 3-0 win. Amherstburg's penalty kill excelled, as the Integrity Admirals gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. Amherstburg stifled Lakeshore's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Integrity Admirals forced the Canadiens goalie Brendan Shuck to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Amherstburg was helped by Spencer McConville, who registered one goal. McConville scored short handed 5:12 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Amherstburg. The Integrity Admirals were on a disadvantage when Curtis Prymack went off the ice for tripping.
