Nolan Riley gave the Mooretown Flags a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Lakeshore Canadiens when he scored 1:11 into the extra period.

Mooretown's penalty kill excelled, as the Flags gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays.

Mooretown was led by Riley, who tallied one goal.

The Flags racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and one major for 23 minutes in penalty time. Mooretown surpassed its season average of 17.0 penalty minutes per game. The Flags stifled Lakeshore's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for Mooretown included Kyle Smith, Landon Wilson, and Ben Morrison, who each put in one. More assists for Mooretown came via Parker Gilhuly, Joe DeSena, Trevor Bogaert, and Matt Brandon, who each chipped in one and Dawson Vautour and Alec Segers, who contributed two each.

The Canadiens stifled Mooretown's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lakeshore's offense rang up 34 shots on the Flags' net.

The Canadiens were helped by Guy Levesque, who registered one goal. Levesque scored 13:34 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Jack Bartlett picked up the assist. Lakeshore also had goals scored by Parker Boyle and Aaron Moore, who scored one goal each. In addition, Lakeshore received assists from Hunter Corp, Austin Jennings, and Mark MacPherson, who each chipped in one.

Mooretown's Nolan Hakr stopped 31 shots out of the 34 that he faced. The Flags registered zero goals on four power play opportunities. Mooretown ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Gilhuly was ejected from the game. Colin Tetreault made 25 saves for Lakeshore on 29 shots. The Canadiens ended with 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. For Lakeshore, Moore was ejected from the game.
