The Wallaceburg Lakers were firing on all cylinders against the Integrity Amherstburg Admirals, and when the final buzzer sounded Lakers emerged with a 5-2 win.

Justin Lindsay was all over the ice for Wallaceburg, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Lindsay scored the first of his two goals at 15:46 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Wallaceburg. Brendan Ritchie picked up the assist. Lindsay's next tally made the score 5-1 Wallaceburg with 10:59 left in the third period. The Lakers had gotten the advantage when Integrity Amherstburg's Dean Patterson was sent off for roughing after whistle. George Wood provided the assist.

The Admirals' power play was ineffective against Wallaceburg's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

The Lakers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Wallaceburg's offense rang up 39 shots on Integrity Amherstburg's net.
