Sartor nets hat trick, leads Lakeshore to 12-0 win over WallaceburgAtlas Centre Fri, Oct 16, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
A hat trick by Steven Sartor was the highlight in Canadiens' 12-0 win against the Wallaceburg Lakers. Sartor got on the scoresheet 16:56 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:23 into the third and at 11:09 into the third.The Lakeshore Canadiens kept Wallaceburg's goalie busy throughout the game, and Derion Ducedre made 42 saves on 54 shots. Lakeshore found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Canadiens have scored at the pace of 4.8 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals. Lakeshore additionally got points from Colin Sartor, who also tallied one goal and two assists, JJ Percy, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Brenden Crundwell, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Lakeshore also had goals scored by Jack Bartlett, who had four and Brandon Ireland and Mejoe Gasparovic, who each put in one. In addition, Lakeshore received assists from Aaron Moore, who had two, Hunter Corp, who had three, and Parker Boyle, Dylan Kolic, and Colin Tetreault, who contributed one each. The Lakers did not rack up many penalties in the contest, and ended with seven minors and one major for 19 minutes in penalty time. Wallaceburg fell short of the 26.0 minutes average penalties per game. Tetreault recorded 16 saves for Lakeshore. The Canadiens incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Lakers registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. For Wallaceburg, Alex Ritchie was ejected from the game.
