The Alvinston Flyers almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Integrity Amherstburg Admirals managed to pull out a 4-3 win in the end. Integrity Amherstburg led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Admirals' Cody Leeming scored at 10:29 in the second period to put Integrity Amherstburg up 3-0. The Admirals were paced by Ryan Holzel, who had one goal and one assist. Holzel scored short handed 19:48 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Integrity Amherstburg. Integrity Amherstburg found itself down a man on Kasey Basile's high sticking. Broden Meloche picked up the assist. The Admirals excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Integrity Amherstburg additionally got points from Blaine Bechard, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Meloche, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Integrity Amherstburg received assists from Ryan Alexander, who had two and Marshal Laing and Mitchel Holden, who contributed one each. Alvinston managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Flyers finished below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game.
