The Integrity Amherstburg Admirals took the lead against the Essex 73s in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-0 victory. A goal 10:11 into the first period by Blaine Bechard proved to be the game winner, and powered Integrity Amherstburg to the victory. Curtis Prymack picked up the assist.The Admirals were boosted by Connor Meyerink, who turned in a shutout with 30 saves. Meyerink managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 0.94 prior to the game. Integrity Amherstburg was paced by Bechard, who registered one goal. The Admirals' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Essex power plays. Integrity Amherstburg's offense operated below its season average. The Admirals average 5.5 goals per game.
