CT Wolfpack (MM) falls apart in second, loses to Thunder AAA Hockey, 5-0

Thunder AAA Hockey scored three goals in the second period to pull away from CT Wolfpack (MM) and clinch a 5-0 win.

Thunder AAA Hockey was sparked by PAUL RABY, who grabbed one goal. RABY scored 8:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Thunder AAA Hockey. KYLE PODWIKA picked up the assist.

Thunder AAA Hockey forced CT Wolfpack (MM)'s goalies to work between the pipes, totaling 35 shots and forcing 30 saves. Tripp Hutchinson made 24 stops and Marcus Nylander made six. Thunder AAA Hockey's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five CT Wolfpack (MM) power plays.

Thunder AAA Hockey also got points from TYLER DILL, who also registered one goal and one assist and PODWIKA, who also finished with two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Thunder AAA Hockey also got a goal from JAKE FRIEDMAN as well. More assists for Thunder AAA Hockey came via ZEKE ZEIER, who had two and SCOTT AARON, RENARS KRASTENBERGS, IAN CURRIE, and ANDREW SINARD, who contributed one each.

CT Wolfpack (MM) stifled Thunder AAA Hockey's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

JONATHAN CHIN made 24 saves for Thunder AAA Hockey on 24 shots. Thunder AAA Hockey incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. CT Wolfpack (MM) incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
