Grimsby and Niagara could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie. The Riverhawks were unable to stop the Peach Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Grimsby eventually piled up 52 shots on goal. The Peach Kings were helped by Brady Cranwell, who tallied one goal. Cranwell scored 1:17 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Matthew Jambrosich picked up the assist. Grimsby also had goals scored by Aidan Board and Carson Macrae, who scored one goal each. In addition, Grimsby received assists from Trevor McEneny, Dillon Cipretti, Jeromy Hopkins, Joshua Kozielski, and Curtis Conrad, who contributed one each. Niagara's offense rang up 31 shots on Grimsby's net. The Riverhawks were helped by Dante Zawadzki, who registered one goal. Zawadzki scored 11:45 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Niagara. Alex Cipriano assisted on the tally. Niagara additionally got points from Cipriano, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Niagara also got a goal from Danny Gallagher as well. More assists for Niagara came via Brandon McLean, who had two and Danny Ledwez and Ryan Degiuli, who each chipped in one. Jeremy Currie made 28 saves for the Peach Kings on 31 shots. Grimsby incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Niagara's Scott Charanduk stopped 49 shots out of the 52 that he faced. The Riverhawks incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
