Stephen Tierney had a standout game with 34 saves, and the Hagersville Hawks beat the Port Dover Sailors 5-1.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 18:35 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with three game misconducts.

Hagersville's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and two majors for 26 minutes in penalty time. The Hawks had been averaging 23.0 minutes in penalties per game. Hagersville's offense rang up 31 shots on the Sailors' net.

Hagersville also got points from Bailey Fletcher, who also had one goal and one assist and Mitch Green, who also racked up two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. The Sailors put an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game. The Hawks were unable to stop Port Dover from sending pucks towards the net, and the Sailors eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Port Dover was led by Brad Johnson, who scored the team's only goal. Johnson scored on the power play 3:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Dover. An interference penalty on Lemassuir had put the Sailors on the power play. Ryan Sullivan picked up the assist.
