Aidan Board gave the Grimsby Peach Kings a 5-4 (OT) victory over the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats when he scored 2:46 into the extra period.

Addison DeTullio had a great game for Grimsby, netting two goals. DeTullio scored at 4:06 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 3:26 into the third to make the score 3-3.

The Peach Kings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Dunnville was unable to stop Grimsby from sending pucks towards the net, and the Peach Kings eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Grimsby also got points from Brennan Smith, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Grimsby also got a goal from Joshua Kozielski as well. More assists for Grimsby came via Dillon Cipretti, Marcus Brydon, Jeromy Hopkins, Kyle Kozielski, Garnet McComber, Matthew Jambrosich, Curtis Conrad, and James Thorpe, who each chipped in one.

The Jr. Mudcats were led by Damien Lalonde, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Lalonde scored 4:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dunnville. Josh Meeuwse assisted on the tally. Dunnville additionally got points from Meeuwse, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Darcy Muller, who also registered one goal and one assist. Connor Schmalz also scored for Dunnville. In addition, Dunnville received assists from Steven Czepek, who had two and Josh Phibbs, Cody LeVasseur, and Millar Leniew, who contributed one each.

Jeremy Currie rejected 23 shots on goal for Grimsby. The Peach Kings incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Jesse Schoeman made 36 saves for Dunnville on 41 shots. The Jr. Mudcats incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
