Huge game by Sherwood boosts Glanbrook over Hagersville, 7-3Glanbrook Arena Wed, Nov 11, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Nicholas Sherwood had one goal and two assists to lead the Glanbrook Rangers to a 7-3 victory over the Hagersville Hawks. Sherwood beat Stephen Tierney with a shot 2:55 into the third period on the power play to make the score 4-1 Glanbrook. Glanbrook had gained a power play chance when Ethan Hager was whistled for tripping. Garnet Batrynchuk picked up the assist. Sherwood dished an assist on Chris Haigh's goal that made the score 2-1 Glanbrook at 8:55 into the second period. He added another helper on Haigh's goal that made the score 5-1 Glanbrook at 6:08 into the third period.The Rangers' goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Glanbrook averages 4.9 goals per contest. The Rangers took advantage of Hagersville's penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.
