Nicholas Sherwood had one goal and two assists to lead the Glanbrook Rangers to a 7-3 victory over the Hagersville Hawks.

Sherwood beat Stephen Tierney with a shot 2:55 into the third period on the power play to make the score 4-1 Glanbrook. Glanbrook had gained a power play chance when Ethan Hager was whistled for tripping. Garnet Batrynchuk picked up the assist. Sherwood dished an assist on Chris Haigh's goal that made the score 2-1 Glanbrook at 8:55 into the second period. He added another helper on Haigh's goal that made the score 5-1 Glanbrook at 6:08 into the third period.

The Rangers' goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Glanbrook averages 4.9 goals per contest. The Rangers took advantage of Hagersville's penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.

Glanbrook also got points from Batrynchuk, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Brett Farrelly also scored for Glanbrook. More assists for Glanbrook came via Justin Whitwell, who had three and Michael Fortino, Curtis Zahorodni, and Cole Anderson, who contributed one each.

Glanbrook was unable to stop the Hawks from sending pucks towards the net, and Hagersville eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

The Hawks were helped by Dan Mederios, who registered one goal. Mederios scored 4:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hagersville. Derek Friesen provided the assist. Hagersville additionally got points from MIchael Arch, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Hagersville also got a goal from Jordy Land as well. In addition, Hagersville received assists from Jake Reichheld and Cole Martin, who each chipped in one.

Jay Payton rejected 28 shots on goal for the Rangers. Glanbrook incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Stephen Tierney made 22 saves for Hagersville on 29 shots. The Hawks incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
