The Niagara Riverhawks failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats shook off a number of penalties to win, 6-2. Dunnville was led by Chad Springer, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Springer scored 35 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-2 Dunnville. Luke Rowe assisted on the tally. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 15:55 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.
