MIchael Arch had one goal and two assists to lead the Hagersville Hawks to an 8-3 victory over the Simcoe Storm.

Arch got on the board by slotting home a goal 8:48 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Hagersville. Zak Culbert assisted on the tally.

In a losing effort, Simcoe was led by CJ Tomlinson, who finished with two goals. Tomlinson scored the first of his two goals at 13:45 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Culbert picked up the assist. Tomlinson's next tally made the score 4-2 Hagersville with 8:20 left in the second period.

Hagersville forced the Storm goalie Tyson Taylor to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots. The Hawks surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Hagersville averages 5.0 goals per contest.

Hagersville additionally got points from Mitch Green, who also had one goal and two assists and Dan Mederios, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Hagersville included Cole Martin, who had two and Brayden Hill, Cole Dezainne, and Shaun General, who scored one goal each. More assists for Hagersville came via Jordy Land, who had one, Derek Friesen, who had three, and Max Gunter and Jake Reichheld, who contributed two each.

Simcoe's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Storm finished with 46 penalty minutes.

Simcoe also had goals scored by Darren Lynch and Grant McKenzie, who each put in one. In addition, Simcoe received assists from Austin Lavigne, who had one.

Ryan Guy made 22 saves for the Hawks on 25 shots. Hagersville incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Taylor recorded 41 saves for Simcoe. The Storm registered one goal on four power play opportunities. For Simcoe, Alexander Polillo was ejected from the game.
