Breezy Point squeaks by Minnesota, 5-3

Ryan Mezera was all over the ice for Breezy Point, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Mezera scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 19:58 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Breezy Point. Andrew Heckaman provided the assist. Mezera's next tally on the power play made the score 3-1 Breezy Point in the second period. The goal was assisted by Patrik Johansson and Reise Kieffer.

Minnesota's power play was ineffective against Breezy Point's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Breezy Point got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the gameBreezy Point kept Minnesota's goalie busy throughout the game, and Dakota McDonald made 38 saves on 43 shots.

Breezy Point also had goals scored by Nick Blanchette, who had one and Alec Hooper, who had two. In addition, Breezy Point received assists from Sean Viti, Adam Lund, and Josh Laven, who each chipped in one.

Kyle Wendorf claimed the first assist on the goal, and Alec Skar got the second.Minnesota additionally got points from Wendorf, who also registered one goal and one assist. Minnesota also got a goal from Guimont as well. More assists for Minnesota came via Skar, Ryan Conybear, Mutschelknaus, Leverty, and Nate Ackerman, who contributed one apiece.
