Gillette's Holwegner deadly on offense in 6-4 win against Bozeman

Gillette pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 31 penalty minutes.

Gillette bested their season scoring average. Gillette has scored at the pace of 3.8 goals per game during the current campaign.Gillette kept Bozeman's goalie busy throughout the game, and Benjamin Sakaria made 15 saves on 53 shots.

Gillette also got points from Nick Stockert, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Gillette included Michael Doyle, Tyler Reble, and Cade Boreing, who scored one each. More assists for Gillette came via Tristen Leberknight, Gennadi Zabeline, Alex King, Tyler Tennant, Garrett Medina, Jack Oberg, and Preston Fuller, who contributed one apiece.

Bozeman's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Bozeman were helped by Ryan Peterson, who racked up one goal.Peterson scored on the power play in the first period to make the score 2-1 Gillette. Elliott Hopkins provided the assist.Bozeman additionally got points from Steven Nisbet, who also registered one goal and one assist. Bozeman also had goals scored by Dalton Rickard, Dylan Michaud, and Peterson, who each put in one. In addition, Bozeman received assists from Liam Millar, who had two and Casey Gobel, Kegan Couture, Hopkins, and Nicholas Thompson, who each chipped in one.

Alex Feese recorded 26 saves for Gillette. Gillette totaled 31 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play. Bozeman incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
