Anthony Iacullo netted a hat trick to lead Peoria over Evansville, 7-1. Iacullo got on the scoresheet 4:38 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:57 into the second and at 7:10 into the third.Peoria was led by goalie Ross Lipic, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Lipic managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.63 prior to the game. Peoria forced Evansville's goalies to work between the pipes, finishing with 54 shots and forcing 47 saves. Adam Conkling made 22 stops and Bryson Lindenburgh made 25. Evansville was led by Brandon Rozema, who scored the team's only goal. Rozema scored 3:49 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Peoria. Peoria incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Evansville incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
