Samuel Woznicki had a standout game with 25 saves, and West Michigan beat Toledo 2-1. Toledo's power play was ineffective against West Michigan's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. West Michigan was paced by Tyler McMahon, who finished with one goal.
