Behind a great game by Jason Hoehn, who had two goals and three assists, Peoria defeated Cincinnati, 9-4.

Hoehn scored at 7:56 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Peoria and again while 9:12 into the third to make the score 9-3 Peoria.

Peoria forced Cincinnati's goalies to work all game long, taking 38 shots and forcing 29 saves. Brian Tempel made 18 stops and Daniel Dolliver made 11. Peoria outdid its season average for goals scored. Peoria has scored at the pace of 4.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Peoria also got points from Levi Armstrong, who also finished with two goals and three assists, Anthony Iacullo, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Austin Wisely, who also registered two goals and two assists. Chance Homerin also scored for Peoria. Other players who recorded assists for Peoria were Zach Cox, who had one and Aaron Siegrist, who had two.

Cincinnati's offense rang up 33 shots on Peoria's net. Cincinnati's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Cincinnati finished with 26 penalty minutes.

Peoria's Nic Piech stopped 29 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Peoria totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 3-for-6 on the power play. Cincinnati registered one goal on four power play opportunities.
