Pittsburgh erases deficit to stun Metro, 4-3

Pittsburgh rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over Metro.

Pittsburgh let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Pittsburgh took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Dominick Glavach at 1:54 in the third period. Pittsburgh found itself down 2-0 after Metro's Jacob Drinkard put the puck home at 11:03 in the first period. After tying things up at 3-3 on a goal by Kevin Shand at 7:37 in the third, Pittsburgh got the game-winner from Brian Dee at 13:53 in the third period.

Glavach had two goals to lead Pittsburgh to victory.

Pittsburgh managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Pittsburgh ended up below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game.

Pittsburgh also got points from Dee, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Gavin Cummings, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Pittsburgh were Auston Palumbo, who had one and James Unger, who had two.

Metro managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Metro finished below its season average of 21.0 penalty minutes per game.
