Atlanta beats Euless 13-3 as Rimbach gets hat trick

Kyle Rimbach lifted Atlanta to a 13-3 victory with a hat trick against Euless.

Rimbach's first goal came 12:59 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:18 into the second and at 10:54 into the third.

Atlanta forced Euless' goaltenders to work between the pipes, ripping 78 shots and forcing 65 saves. Joshua Beatty made 47 stops and Everett Yasinski made 18. Atlanta surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Atlanta has scored at the pace of 5.5 goals per game during the current campaign.

Atlanta also got points from Philip Pugliese, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Evan Camba, who also registered two goals and one assist, Alex Johanson, who also had one goal and three assists, and Jesse Brown, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Atlanta also had goals scored by Arturas Laukaitis, who had three and Frank Trazzera and Ryan Dumond, who each put in one. More assists for Atlanta came via Andrew Cooley, Drew Kelly, Riley Hummitsch, and Ross Bartlett, who each chipped in one.

Euless found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 14 shots against Atlanta's defense.

Euless was helped by Brandon Wade, who tallied one goal. Wade scored on the power play 8:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Euless. Benjamin Kraus picked up the assist. Euless additionally got points from Triston Wilson, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Aaron Wade also scored for Euless. Other players who recorded assists for Euless were Axel Olson, who had one.

Corey Boettcher made 11 saves for Atlanta on 14 shots. Atlanta incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Euless incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
