Lee leads Pittsburgh to shutout victory over Southern Tier

Daniel Lee recorded a shutout against Southern Tier as Pittsburgh picked up a 6-0 win.

Pittsburgh got the win thanks to a great game by James Unger, who had one goal and two assists. Unger scored 11:57 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pittsburgh. Brian Dee assisted on the tally.

Pittsburgh forced Southern Tier's netminders to work without much rest, totaling 45 shots and forcing 39 saves. Ryan Pascarella made 31 stops and Timothy OSullivan made eight. Pittsburgh stifled Southern Tier's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Pittsburgh outdid its season average for goals scored.
