McConnell leads Wisconsin to shutout victory over Rochester

Max McConnell recorded a shutout against Rochester as Wisconsin picked up a 5-0 win.

Wisconsin was paced by Matthew Carr, who grabbed one goal. Carr scored 11:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wisconsin. Nathan Viberg assisted on the tally.

Wisconsin stifled Rochester's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Wisconsin's defensive play was more effective than usual against Rochester. Wisconsin gives up 2.6 goals on average per game. Wisconsin's offense rang up 34 shots on Rochester's net.

Wisconsin also had goals scored by Ben Ratner, who had two and Thomas Hanson and Russel Barone, who each put in one. In addition, Wisconsin received assists from Peter Henderson, who had three and Connor Boscaccy, Clayton Brown, Austin Lewis, and Jake McNamara, who contributed one each.
