Point Mallard had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-1 win over Louisiana.

Point Mallard was sparked by Matt Darnell, who finished with one goal and one assist. Darnell scored 19:13 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Point Mallard. Stephen Coulter picked up the assist.
