Wooster's Tyler Houmard scored 1:46 into overtime to beat Cincinnati, 5-4 (OT).

Houmard had two goals to lead Wooster to victory.

Wooster forced Cincinnati goalie Tyler Geloneck to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.

Wooster also had goals scored by Christian Miller, Zach Bilius, and Steven Frankel, who scored one goal each. In addition, Wooster received assists from Brad Sneed, Tyler Groth, Rubin Chavarria, Andy Romani, Brandon Scholze, and Joe Morgan, who each chipped in one and Mike Zenone and Nick Mooney, who contributed two each.

Cincinnati was helped by Arsenii Vashchuk, who tallied one goal. Vashchuk scored 17:19 into the third period to make the score 4-4. Albert Janele assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Cincinnati included Brenden Williams, Kyle Kinnaman, and Jacob Friedman, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Cincinnati were Samuel Dorff, Tyler Simon, and Cobin Sanborn, who each chipped in one.

Joe Morgan made 24 saves for Wooster on 28 shots. Wooster incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Geloneck rejected 34 shots on goal for Cincinnati. Cincinnati incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
