Great Falls wins tough contest against Bozeman, 3-2

Great Falls and Bozeman were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Great Falls made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

Great Falls gained the winning advantage on a goal by Josh Larson 13:51 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Great Falls pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

Great Falls was sparked by Larson, who racked up one goal.

Great Falls additionally got points from Tanner Congdon, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tyler Garcia also scored for Great Falls. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Ricards Bernhards, who had two and Reed Link and Adam Apangalook, who each chipped in one.

Great Falls was unable to stop Bozeman from sending pucks towards the net, and Bozeman eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Bozeman could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Bozeman was helped by Kegan Couture, who grabbed one goal. Couture scored 19:08 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Great Falls. Gunnar Mogck provided the assist. Bozeman also got points from Mogck, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Bozeman were Dylan Michaud, who had two.

Jake Stephan rejected 30 shots on goal for Great Falls. Great Falls registered one goal on five power play opportunities. Stephen Frank made 25 saves for Bozeman on 28 shots. Bozeman registered one goal on seven power play opportunities.
