Wisconsin rolls over Wooster, 5-2

Wisconsin had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Wooster.

Wisconsin got the win with help from a great game by Peter Henderson, who had one goal and two assists. Henderson scored short handed 18:55 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Wisconsin. Wisconsin found itself down a man on Jake McNamara's head contact.

Wisconsin stifled Wooster's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Wisconsin forced Wooster goalie Creighton Furber to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Wisconsin also got points from Nathan Viberg, who also had one goal and one assist. Wisconsin also had goals scored by Clayton Brown, Austin Lewis, and Ben Ratner, who each put in one. In addition, Wisconsin received assists from Connor Busch and Matthew Carr, who each chipped in one.

Wooster was helped by Tyler Houmard, who registered one goal. Houmard scored 4:56 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Jason Watts picked up the assist. Wooster also got a goal from Rubin Chavarria as well. Other players who recorded assists for Wooster were Zach Bilius, who had one.

Wisconsin's Roni Sener stopped 16 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Wisconsin incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Creighton Furber made 31 saves for Wooster on 36 shots. Wooster incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
