Brendon Block had two goals and two assists to lead West Michigan to a 6-3 victory over Twin City.

Block found the back of the net 1:23 into the second period to make the score 2-0 West Michigan and again while on the power play 13:42 into the second to make the score 4-1 West Michigan.

Twin City's power play was ineffective against West Michigan's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

West Michigan's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Twin City power plays. West Michigan found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. West Michigan has scored at the pace of 3.9 goals per game during the current campaign.

West Michigan additionally got points from Dakota Ulmer, who also had one goal and two assists. West Michigan also had goals scored by Connor Henderson, Chase Whallon, and Corey Siwula, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for West Michigan were Curtis Carlson, who had two.
