West Michigan's power play was ineffective against Metro's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

More assists for Metro came via Kevin Shand, who had two and Cam Schwartz, Jacob Gleason, Mathias Tellstrom, and Jacob Rutkoske, who each chipped in one.
