Wisconsin had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over La Crosse.

Peter Henderson was all over the ice for Wisconsin, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Henderson scored the first of his two goals at 1:35 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Wisconsin. Ben Ratner provided the assist. Henderson's next tally made the score 4-1 Wisconsin with 6:46 left in the second period. Jake McNamara picked up the assist.

Wisconsin could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 56 minutes in penalties during the game.

Wisconsin additionally got points from Caleb Vosters, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Nathan Viberg, who also registered two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Wisconsin included Connor Busch and Austin Lewis, who scored one goal each. More assists for Wisconsin came via Matthew Carr, who had two and Thomas Hanson and Max McConnell, who each chipped in one.

La Crosse's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. La Crosse is averaging 2.5 goals against for the season.
